I booked a standard king-size suite with breakfast included which was excellent! There was great variety of food in the beautiful dining area and the servers were so courteous, polite, and professional (especially Kalongo? (hope I spelled his name right)). Room service was quick and attentive. The room itself was huge and the king-size beds were very large and extremely comfortable. Blackout blinds ensured that I had deep and restful sleep to help me get over jet lag quickly. The marble bathroom was luxurious and the shower water pressure was excellent! Appreciated also having a soaker tub in addition to a stand-up shower. Ample towels were provided and the bathrobe was nice touch. Location was quiet and serene, and perfect for me as I was attending a family wedding in a location only 2 minutes away from the hotel. The grounds were spectacular and a beautiful backdrop going for walks at anytime of the day. We attended the spa and were very well treated to a massage and nail care. My mom stayed in the nearby presidential suite which was top notch and great value for money. We were both blown away by how spacious the hotel rooms were the quality of service. We will definitely be returning to this hotel time and time again when future travel brings us to Johannesburg.

I just went during level 4 of lockdown and that didn't have an impact on the service 5 star. The food, the scenery, the pool areas, the staff, the atmosphere, the room. I have went to few hotels and lodges around Gauteng and Limpopo but Kloofzicht surpasses all of them when it comes to the food, scenery and staff. The food was very tasty, from the buffet breakfast, lunch by the bistro, and dinner, everything is top class. The number of times that me and my wife kept on saying that this place is beautiful was countless.

The booking in is so seamless. I came with my partner and him being someone who travels a lot, he was very impressed. Breakfast was ok however buffet would have been better as the menu was limited. However the stay was okay, nothing WOW. I think it it perfect for business travel rather than a romantic weekend gateway unless the aim is to sleep and expose gauteng during the day and come to the hotel to sleep at night.
